Dear Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus,

The Book of Colossians is a great place to learn more about our Savior Jesus and who we are in Him! It is so powerful and gives us a great way forward in an increasingly dark world. Paul is expressing his happiness at the news update on the growing faith of the Colossians.

"For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy..." (Colossians 1:9-11)

Being filled with the knowledge of the will of the Lord will displace thoughts of worldly things. Like a drinking glass filled with muddy water that is immersed in a pool of crystal clear water-so is the one who is filled with the knowledge of the will of God! Knowing and living in the will of the Lord goes hand in hand with having wisdom and understanding from Him. Those with understanding are able to apply information to every day living-that is wisdom-applying information rightly.

This is the foundation for empowering one to walk out their faith (live a life) as an authentic witness to the resurrected Savior Jesus! Living a life fully pleasing to Him and bringing forth fruit that will remain is a by-product of such faith. This is also the way we grow closer to our Heavenly Father. Listen to a powerful Psalm that says it very well:

He shall be like a tree
Planted by the rivers of water,
That brings forth its fruit in its season,
Whose leaf also shall not wither;
And whatever he does shall prosper. (Psalm 1:3)

So many lives will be shipwrecked in these trying times. But, those who believe and live this way in Messiah Jesus will be strong in the Lord and the power of His might! He will give us strength to patiently endure and-we will do so with great joy! Here are some summary points to help:

The Holy Spirit wants the Colossians, and us today, to remember these things:

1. We can and should know the will of the Lord for our lives.
2. We can and should have eyes to see and ears to hear from the Holy Spirit (wisdom and spiritual understanding).
3. These things will help us walk worthy of the Lord.
4. As we walk worthy of the Lord we will be fully pleasing to Him!
5. We will also be fruitful in every good work and truly get to know our Father in heaven in greater measure!
6. We will be strengthened with all might according to His glorious power!
7. Not only will we have patience and the ability to bear up under every struggle-but we will do so with JOY!!!

Please meditate on these things and just watch how the Lord works in your life!

Watch Therefore TV!

The Watch Therefore television program is really moving forward-thanks to our great Savior Jesus! People are watching now more than ever and many are responding with great letters and testimonies.

More are also coming alongside to partner with the prayer and financial needs of the program-Hallelujah-we need all the help our Savior will provide through His people!

Currently, I am teaching through the book of Colossians on the program. The teaching I mention at the start of this letter is a snapshot of what I am sharing. Certainly, Colossians will help us watch and be ready! Additionally, I am going to be teaching important prophetic insights from the Bible as they directly relate to this special generation.

For those praying and partnering with us I have a general, but exciting update:
New opportunities for expansion of Watch Therefore TV are coming in leaps and bounds! I cannot share any more details right now. All I can say is that Abba Father must truly want this message to cover the globe! These new opportunities are far beyond our current capacity-but well within His reach! So, please pray for Abba's Kingdom to come and will to be done on earth as it is in heaven as it relates to Watch Therefore TV!

Africa Ministry Prayer Needs:
Please pray for upcoming opportunities for Nigeria in May and Rwanda and the Congo in September. Truly, if the Lord of the Harvest takes me to these places we should expect many precious souls to be saved and set free! We should also expect many to learn the importance and how to watch therefore and be ready!

We are currently partnering monthly by prayer and financial support with two Kenyan pastors who are helping orphans and widows, preaching the gospel, and making disciples of our Savior Jesus. Please pray for Pastor's Zaphania Makori and James Okenda.

Remember, more than ever, this is the time to be poured out for the faith of others and to watch therefore and be ready!

Yes, and if I am being poured out as a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with you all. (Philippians 2:17)

Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. (Matthew 24:42-44)

Dear Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus,

This letter will not only be informational, but after reading it I would ask you to pray for these exciting opportunities the Lord has for so many to be saved by our Savior Jesus. Also, this letter will provide prayer points for much discipleship and even more! Have you heard the phrase "old things are new again"?

For many years I was going to Rwanda and the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) as they are neighboring countries. So much has happened since the last time I was there about five years ago. My wife, son, and myself have moved to Israel, our married daughter in North Carolina is about to have our second grandchild, and I have been going to other countries in Africa.

In Rwanda and the DRC we have seen literally thousands receive Jesus as Lord and Savior (2007-2014)! Not only that, but I have led pastor and church leadership conferences in many cities with thousands as well. Lord knows how many churches I have been in, and also how many orphans and widows we were able to help with the Lord's tender grace and mercy.

Both areas, at this time more DRC than Rwanda, have scars of genocide, and ethnic, tribal, and political strife. An open-ness to the gospel and Bible teaching, along with a new open door provided by the Lord, is drawing my heart back to these two countries.

However, my schedule for this year is already getting full and I am earnestly seeking our Father in heaven for His grace, mercy, and perfect will. Lord willing, it will be later this year and I am praying about which month to put Rwanda and DRC on my calendar. Would you please pray for a clear understanding regarding which month I should go?

Watch Therefore TV Program

"You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden." (Matthew 5:14)

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also." (John 14:1-3)

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:2)

We live in such a strange "Christian" environment. With each passing month it seems that the Bible is becoming less relevant to professing Christ followers. At the time when this lost and dying world needs born again followers of our Lord Jesus to be clear thinking and close to Him more than ever, more often churches and Christians look as lost as the world!

It is so important to remember that for darkness to expand or increase the light must become dim. The dimness in those who only profess to be light is opening the way for darkness and all kinds of evil to engulf the world today! The love for the things of this world has taken the place of the love for Jesus Christ in so much of the professing Church today. And the world's way of thinking, which is taking over so much of the church, makes the church look like the lost and dying world!

It is my prayer, belief, and experience that our television program "Watch Therefore" is making a difference! We get such beautiful letters from precious souls who are getting built up by the Holy Spirit from watching our program. It truly is a discipleship tool to feed a remnant of those who truly want to walk with our Savior. It also helps them to be ready for Him to come and take us to that place He has been preparing for us! This is a program for those who are truly Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus! It is also a program for those whom the Lord wants to hear the soul saving gospel, which I share at the end of almost every program.

Please prayerfully consider something regarding Watch Therefore TV. Recently, I talked with a man who suggested, in so many words, that I should do "the ask" on my TV program more intentionally and creatively. This means I should do a better job of asking for money. However, the last thing I want to do is unnecessarily drive anyone away-God forbid that someone watching who needs to be saved would feel "asked" for money! I even tell people who may be watching and who have not yet received Jesus as Lord-"please do not send any money into our ministry. Please receive Jesus as Savior and enjoy the program."

I also tell them on the program that our help comes from the Lord-Maker of heaven and earth! We trust Him to raise up faithful prayer and financial partners for our program. It is very expensive-more than I want to think about-but together in Messiah Jesus-He will keep us on the air wherever He wants and as long as He wants! So, if the Holy Spirit places it on your heart, prayerfully consider becoming a prayer and financial partner of Watch Therefore TV. That is the extent of my "ask."

Kenyan Pastor Support

We continue monthly support for two Kenyan Pastors ~ Zaphania Makori and James Okenda. Both have hearts and lives poured out for orphans, widows, the lost, and the body of Christ! They sow their lives in difficult situations and we come alongside and help-what a blessing for us!

Let's keep pouring ourselves out for the faith of others. Let's keep getting ready to see our Savior! One day, even soon, may we hear Him say these words to us:
"Well done good and faithful servant."

Dear Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus,

We hear so much about the bad news in the world and specifically the USA. And yes, there is plenty of bad news. But I have some good news to share in this letter!

My January USA Trip

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Romans 1:16

I truly had a sense on this trip that I was going to get to share the love, including the gospel, of our Savior Jesus almost everywhere I went-and I was not disappointed! I left Ben Gurion Airport close to Tel Aviv and headed for North Carolina to visit family who lives there.

I sat next to an Israeli man on the plane who lives in New York City. As many of you know, often times it is very difficult to share the gospel with Jewish people. However, Gabriel let me share and discuss the things of our Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) with him for a surprisingly long time. Though our discussion did not immediately cut through his 40 or so years of traditional teaching that Jesus cannot be our Messiah-we know that the gospel is the power of God to save!

So, my trip was off to a good start having shared the gospel with a Jewish man first-and now off to the Gentiles! I began having difficulties like my luggage not arriving with me, phone issues, and other things. Immediately I began praising our Lord Jesus and looking for people with whom to share the gospel. I began sharing at the luggage office while reporting my luggage and then with a currency exchange lady at the airport. Both heard the gospel-one was already a believer and the other listened to the power of God to save-the gospel!

I was on a roll as I was talking with my phone service provider for about thirty minutes. Finally, I began sharing the gospel with the service agent who lives in New Mexico. I told him about my TV program and while we were waiting for phone downloading he looked me up on the internet. I shared the gospel with him and pointed him to a Calvary Chapel church in New Mexico. He let me pray for him that the gospel and our living Savior would become real to him-Hallelujah!

Then something really exciting happened. While in North Carolina I went to a coffee shop early every morning to work on my new book. One morning, as I left the coffee shop, a young lady who was volunteering outside for an organization that helps teens get off drugs asked if she could talk to me. I told her that I would listen to her if she would listen to me. After listening to her I shared the gospel and she began to weep. She then prayed to receive Jesus as Lord! Her name is Grace and this is just the beginning of the story.

I left North Carolina for Texas to visit at a small Calvary Chapel that I planted in the Houston area before moving to Israel. I spent two weekends teaching there and shared about Grace who prayed to receive Messiah Jesus in North Carolina and explained that she was moving that week to California. As the Lord had arranged things, a former secretary of a Calvary Chapel in California is a member of our congregation in Texas. She helped us introduce Grace to a church in California. As it turned out this church is a little far so she is attending one closer to her home as she begins her new life in Christ Jesus-double Hallelujah!

You see here is some good news for a change. Our Lord is not only pouring out His judgment-He is also pouring out His grace and mercy on precious souls like Grace-there is grace for Grace! Here is my question: Are you sharing the gospel with those the Lord has around you every day in your everyday life? Are you looking to share His grace with those all around you like our new sister Grace?

So then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 1 Corinthians 3:7-8

Most often when someone receives Jesus as Lord is after they have heard the gospel many times or have been invited by a friend to church. Often times someone is praying for a loved one to hear the gospel from a laborer who loves our Lord Jesus and loves the lost. Will you be an answer to their prayer? Are there loved ones you are praying for? Could it be that as you share with those they are praying for that the Lord will send someone to your loved one?

Yes, it is true that there are troubled times ahead for America and the whole world, but never forget that where sin abounds, and it is abounding, that grace abounds all the more! Never forget that God has mercy in judgment and even uses the trouble of times like these to bring precious souls to repentance who would not come to Him otherwise.

Many hearts will be opened to the only hope there truly is in this world and His name is Jesus our Lord! Be ready with His gospel-good news-that He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and on the third day He rose from the grave-Hallelujah! Also, be ready to tell people that if they repent of their sins and believe in the gospel that they will be forgiven, saved, and will go up in the Rapture to be with our Savior Jesus! Then, we will return with Him to rule and reign on the earth! This is a lot of good news and it is our good news to share. (Mark 1:14-15, I Corinthians 15:1-4, John 14:1-3)
