Dear Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus,

The first subject of this update is long overdue! I am taking this opportunity to share about precious leaders whom we support financially on a monthly basis in the nations. These are God-called men who truly have sold out and are poured out for the Gospel’s sake! They also have many God-called women working with them in their efforts. Then, in the second part of this letter I will share the exciting news about our August Africa Gospel/discipleship outreach.

Blessed is he who considers the poor;
The Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive,
And he will be blessed on the earth;
You will not deliver him to the will of his enemies.
The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness;
You will sustain him on his sickbed.” (Psalm 41:1-4)

Pastor Zaphania Makori is a Kenyan pastor who lives and ministers in a huge slum in Nairobi. I had the honor of ministering with him there on a few occasions during 2008-2011. Our ministry partner John McTernan currently works with him extensively.
The conditions this man and his family live and minister in are difficult to imagine if you have never been in a third world country slum. Yet, he lives daily with the joy of the Lord and reaches precious souls with the Gospel of Messiah Jesus. We prayerfully and financially support Pastor Zaphania monthly.

Pastor James Okenda is also a Kenyan pastor whom I met during the same years I was frequently ministering in Kenya. Amongst all his other ministry responsibilities, his family adopted a little orphaned baby they found abandoned in a field. They have raised her for many years and her name is Esther. We help support beautiful Esther monthly.

Erneste Ndoreyaho is a very special young man of God who ministers in Rwanda in the most unique way. He is the director of the Family Success Ministry. He is a true bridge between the lost, poor, and suffering and the life of Messiah Jesus! For example, Erneste arranges Gospel preaching opportunities like nobody I have ever met! His ministry brought 200 prostitutes to a special church meeting where I preached the Gospel and most if not all, prayed to receive Messiah Jesus as Lord! Then our ministry partners, like some of you, paid for Bibles for these precious new sisters in Christ. Through further meetings with these precious ladies we have seen that many have repented and truly are following our Savior! This is just one of many examples of how the Family Success Ministry in Rwanda is so uniquely fruitful! We support this ministry prayerfully and financially monthly.

Bishop Reinhard is an Arch-Bishop of an Anglican Charismatic network of churches in India. He shepherds and leads 2,000 churches—700 of which he personally planted! In the midst of poverty, persecution, and now much death caused by the virus and other things associated with it, this man of God truly shines brightly in the darkness! He has visited me in Israel and has asked me to join his network of churches in prayer, Gospel preaching and Bible teaching. I was planning to go to India to serve with him, but the virus restrictions began at that time and have not subsided. Lord willing, one day I will join him there for short-term missions work. Until then, we pray and support him financially monthly.

Beyond our normal monthly support—oftentimes there are additional emergency needs that arise and the Holy Spirit calls upon us to help. I encourage all reading this update to prayerfully consider joining me as we cannot out-give the Lord as we help these precious and great men and women of God!

“He who has pity on the poor lends to the Lord,
And He will pay back what he has given.” (Proverbs 19:17)

RWANDA GOSPEL/DISCIPLESHIP SUMMER OUTREACH!
I have been teaching Rwandan pastors throughout the year by internet (ZOOM) conferences. About 40-50 pastors come to a church where I am projected on a screen as I teach and preach about the Lord’s Covenants and Bible Prophecy (the Watch Therefore Message). Hallelujah!—our Savior has blessed these special times and these pastors have been pleading with me to come to Rwanda again! So far this year, we have reached over 600 pastors!

Initially, we were prayerfully planning for a summer DRC Congo outreach—but the Lord had other plans as the virus restrictions in the DRC became too strict for our outreach. But thankfully, where the Lord shuts one door He oftentimes opens another one!

Pastor Herman is a very special Rwandan pastor who has been organizing our pastor conferences and other mission work we do in Rwanda. He quickly said yes to the open door for a Rwanda summer Gospel/discipleship outreach—and we are on for Rwanda in August!

Our plans include working with Erneste and the Family Success Ministry to preach the Gospel and have special discipleship meetings with the 200 or so ladies mentioned earlier as they truly desire to follow our Savior Jesus! In the past we have seen many precious souls saved from this kind of effort. Also, I will be leading many more pastor conferences that Pastor Herman is arranging. We are praying for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit and true revival to breakout in Rwanda!
We are trusting our Heavenly Father to pour out His Spirit to bring many to our Savior Jesus! Lord willing, the virus will not prevent this Rwanda trip. If so, we will direct these resources toward the ZOOM pastor conferences all across Rwanda. As the Holy Spirit leads, prayerfully consider joining me in this effort—we can be 'Team Jesus’ as we raise up the banner of our Savior in Rwanda.

Here is how we can partner together: PRAYING, GIVING, GOING! You can begin praying for me and continue to do so through the dates of the outreach August 9-22. In addition to the things the Lord places upon your hearts, our next newsletter will have specific prayer points. You can participate in giving as the Holy Spirit leads. The funds the Lord has given you to sow for this mission trip will help to send me with the gospel. As the Holy Spirit leads, some will do the praying and giving—I will do the going!—Oh Hallelujah!

Dear Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus,

Can you imagine, in what seems to be just a blink of an eye—the New Year of 2021—is almost half over! I am reminded of a passage of Scripture that would do us all well to heed now more than ever. It is a time management passage:

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise,
redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” (Ephesians 5:15-16)

The days were evil in Paul’s time—and they haven’t improved any today. To the contrary, we are now living in the modern days of Noah and Lot! (Luke 17:25-30) As we prepare accordingly, shouldn’t we redeem the time now more than ever. One thing you will never get back after it is gone—YESTERDAY!

Remember, in the midst of these difficult times—we who have read the end of the book know something very exciting—WE WIN!!!

“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14)

The Gospel and Discipleship

Here is a question that helps me redeem the time: Is there anything from this world I can take to heaven? Actually, there is only one thing—the only thing I can take with me into the next life is the precious souls I have been able to influence with the faith of Messiah Jesus. Paul spoke of wisdom in redeeming the time, and Daniel and Solomon wrote about the wisdom of winning souls to the Lord.

“Those who are wise shall shine Like the brightness of the firmament, And those who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.”
(Daniel 12:3)

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.”
(Proverbs 11:30)

Recently, my wife and I were visiting in America. With these things in mind, I shared the Gospel everywhere we went with hurting hearted people who were ready to listen! At restaurants, the car rental company, even at the shopping mall! I thank our Heavenly Father for sending me to America with the Gospel of His dear Son!

On one occasion our waitress was so moved by hearing about these prophetic times and the Gospel that she drew in another waitress. Both of them were thankful and excited to hear the good news and with tears in their eyes promised to go and tell their loved ones who had been praying for them that they were getting right with the Lord! All this happened right in the middle of the restaurant and others were hearing as well!

Living here in Israel, we have a front row seat to the exploding signs our Savior gave us regarding the Rapture, the Tribulation, the Second Coming, and the 1,000 year reign of our Savior Jesus. I have an ever-increasing burden to see precious souls saved before the horrors of the wrath of God fall upon this sin sick earth. Prayerfully consider joining me in redeeming the time and winning souls into the Kingdom of our soon coming King and Savior Jesus!

In our letter last month I featured our summer Gospel and discipleship outreaches in Africa: Rwanda, Africa Pastor Conferences/Western DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) Gospel Discipleship Outreach. Please do pray and participate financially as the Holy Spirit leads.

Also, in Africa and India, we have powerful ministry partners with whom we financially participate every month. Not only does this help to support them in the midst of poverty, but it also helps support and provide a true Gospel witness in these poverty stricken areas of the world! Join us as the Lord leads. I think maybe next month I will highlight them by name and their regions.

Dear Poured Out Followers of Messiah Jesus,

While so many are understandably fearful and anxious about these times, and others ignore the gravity of the events taking place all around us, what should be our perspective as disciples of Jesus Christ? This letter will springboard from important Bible passages to explain how we can participate together with great joy and success in this critical hour! The word of God will be our guide through the minefield of these times.

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.” (Matthew 24:36-39)

“And as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. Likewise as it was also in the days of Lot: They ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. Even so will it be in the day when the Son of Man is revealed.” (Luke 17:26-30)

We know that the modern days of Noah and Lot are upon us as the world is looking more like Sodom and Gomorrah every day! And, in your own study time you can confirm that the characteristics of Noah’s day certainly are like ours as well. In Genesis 6 we find a population explosion, widespread outrageous wickedness, corruption, and violence. Certainly, we know that our Savior’s words are coming to pass—meaning the Rapture is any moment!

This also is in the context of another characteristic of Noah’s day. In the midst of all the evil - Noah found what is available to us today!

“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.”(Genesis 6:8)

“Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left. Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming.”
(Matthew 24:40-42)

While it has been important for every generation of Christ followers to watch for Him to come for us in the Rapture, now more than ever that should be our practice! Our Savior tells us how to do just that! We should be like the faithful, wise, and blessed servant who is watching for the Returning Master and feeding others their food in due season. Remember, Jesus is the Bread of Life—we should be instruments of the grace of our Savior Jesus to others!

“Watch therefore, for you do not know what hour your Lord is coming. But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. “Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his master made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season? Blessed is that servant whom his master, when he comes, will find so doing. Assuredly, I say to you that he will make him ruler over all his goods.”
(Matthew 24:42-47)

Thankfully, our Lord Jesus has given our ministry open doors of grace through which we can reach so many with His gospel. Truly, we are watching for our Returning Master and feeding precious souls the Bread of Life until He comes. Maybe He would even have you join with us in prayer and partnership as we prepare for our King’s anytime coming for us!

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins,
according to the riches of His grace…” (Ephesians 1:7)

Rwanda Pastor Conferences
We have two primary summer outreaches. We are continuing our ongoing ZOOM conferences with 40-50 Pastors weekly. Due to the demand across the country, we may increase from one conference per week to two or three. We are praying for the necessary resources to continue and even increase this work. We need to buy a new projector (so we won’t need to rent), along with expenses for our translator, food, and in some cases traveling expenses. These Pastors truly are thankful for the teaching on the LORD’s covenants and Bible Prophecy. We are also calling upon the Lord with them for revival and an outpouring of the Holy Spirit—Oh Hallelujah!

DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) Late July-Early August
Last November while in Kinshasa, the Capitol of the DRC, I was blessed to work with a special translator and two Pastors. We saw many come to Christ and also conducted Pastor conferences. This summer we are reuniting to fly to a special region of the DRC for gospel outreach and Pastor conferences. Oh Hallelujah, we are prayerfully going to see the glory of the Lord!
Please join us in prayer for this special summer Kingdom outreach. First, we believe our Heavenly Father, through our Savior Jesus, by the powerful Holy Spirit is sending us to see souls saved, those in bondage set free, and for a great measure of fruitful discipleship training. These are the things we want to be doing in preparation for the Returning Master! The cost of this outreach is beyond our ministry’s ability—but that’s ok because our help comes from the LORD—Maker of heaven and earth!!! (Psalm 121:2)
