Newsletter – January 2021

"We are rejoicing
to be Poured Out
For The Nations!"

Dear Poured Out Brothers and Sisters In Messiah Jesus,

Happy New Year! And though this New Year may not be short on challenges it will be full of opportunities to sow our lives (pour ourselves out) into the lives of others. We can and should do so-that we make true disciples of our Savior Jesus!

Many are making New Year's resolutions now, most often broken by the end of January. However, we can make real life changing commitments to our Savior that will not only help us, but others to whom our Lord assigns us this year. What are some of the most important things we can do in 2021? Think in terms of "first" regarding our priority list and let's set these for our 2021 goals.

"But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness,
and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33)

Then one of the scribes came, and having heard them reasoning together, perceiving that He had answered them well, asked Him, "Which is the first commandment of all?" Jesus answered him, "The first of all the commandments is: 'Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.' This is the first commandment. And the second, like it, is this: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no other commandment greater than these." (Mark 12:28-31)

We see here that we are to first love our Lord Jesus and then people. We cannot love people with God's love if we do not first love Him. Yet, if we first love Him - since our priorities are right - we can then love people with His love flowing through us! At the same time we cannot rightly say that we love Him if we are not loving people - especially people in the body of Christ.

"If someone says, "I love God," and hates his brother, he is a liar;
for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen,
how can he love God whom he has not seen?"(1 John 4:20)

When we first love the Lord - the next priority is our immediate family - husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, children. Then we must love the body of Messiah - and then discipleship including winning the lost to our/their Savior.

When "first" things are truly first in our lives, everything else that follows on our priority list will fall into place with far less effort and they will be good. When things are good-they tend towards pleasing our Heavenly Father and establishing peace and well-being.

When things are not good, having been established on a foundation of mixed up priorities, peace is displaced by chaos and unnecessary trouble. Even in the midst of great shaking and trouble beyond our control - we can have peace as we put first things first!
When we seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness we are walking in step with the prayer our Lord gave to His disciples:

"So He said to them, "When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come.
Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven." (Luke 11:2)

To seek first His righteousness means to seek after His standard of what is good. The best example of that is the life of Messiah Jesus on the earth. When we look at His lifestyle while on earth it was one of goodness - and that should be our 2021 standard.

"...how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him." (Acts 10:38)

"And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart." (Galatians 6:9)

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

As we consider these first things for 2021, I would like to share with you our ongoing "good works" in the Nations and then good works we are praying about for the upcoming year. After seeing these things could it be that the Holy Spirit will raise you up to prayerfully and even financially participate - consider if that would be a good work assigned to you?

Ongoing Good Works 2021
- Watch Therefore TV Broadcast (global discipleship and gospel outreach)
- Monthly prayer and financial support for pastors in Kenya and India.

Prayerfully Planning For 2021
- Rwanda, Africa Gospel/Discipleship Mission Trip
- Burundi, Africa Mission Trip
- DRC, Africa (Democratic Republic of Congo) Gospel/Discipleship Mission Trip
- India Gospel/Discipleship Mission Trip
- Other opportunities about which I do not yet know

Start today, consider the Bible passages included in this letter. Set your priorities accordingly and come what may - and it could be very challenging this year - but we will continue to live poured out lives for the faith in Jesus of others in 2021 - Hallelujah!

On your mark, get set, go!

In His service,
Dov Schwarz

Newsletter – December 2020

"We are rejoicing
to be Poured Out
For The Nations!"

Dear Poured Out Brothers and Sisters In Messiah Jesus,

This is a year-end review and what a year 2020 has been! Incredibly, from heaven's perspective, it has been quite fruitful. Yes, in the temporal and regarding our comforts 2020 has been terrible! However, we are not to look at the temporal but the eternal! And for those whose afflictions have included enduring for righteousness sake we have promises along with an exhortation of the eternal:

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
2 Corinthians 4:17-18

Since the discomforts, challenges, and injustices of 2020 are certainly in clear view, let's take note of just some of the eternal accomplishments and praiseworthy matters our Savior has worked in our ministry's midst this year. I am constantly reminded that many of you have co-labored with me to bear this fruit that will remain forever!

You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you. John 15:16

Watch Therefore Programming
The Watch Therefore TV program continues to expand as in 2020 we joined two additional networks-now we are on CTN, Inspiration TV, The Walk, and WACX in Orlando. Two of those are national networks, one is international (200 countries) and one is a local station. Certainly, many more have been touched by the Lord and blessed as many turned to television ministry in 2020 because of Covid.

Africa Mission Trips

Women receiving new Bibles

In late January-early February I went to Rwanda and Burundi where I led pastor conferences, preached the Watch Therefore message, and the Gospel of our Savior Jesus. Many were touched, taught, healed, and saved. We saw about 900-1000 pray to receive Messiah Jesus! We even saw over 100 prostitutes pray to repent and receive our Savior-Hallelujah!

In September I traveled again to Rwanda where the Covid restrictions were very severe. Even in that restricted environment we were able to navigate by the Holy Spirit and saw over 400 pray to receive Messiah Jesus! Also, we followed up with many of the previous new believers from earlier in the year.

Thankfully, most of the former prostitutes are becoming women of God and gave their testimonies with their new Bibles purchased by our Poured Out Partners! What an amazing Gospel/Discipleship/Watch Therefore mission trip this was! Our ministry partners also joined with In Touch Ministries to provide audio-Bibles for 200 non-readers in Rwanda. Truly, these are eternal matters that cannot be hindered by the temporal shakings and troubles!

One Last Time In 2020!
I thought it best to end the year taking the Watch Therefore Message and the Gospel to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). There I have ministry partners that are simply Biblical. The Pastors (Richard and James) and my translator (Winner) I work with in Kinshasa, DRC are such godly and blessed servants of our Savior! I am overwhelmed to be in such company-it is just amazing grace.

I preached in many churches in Kinshasa and then out in rural areas. We covered so much ground and ministered in so many ways! Here are just a few: Watch Therefore message, gospel outreach, prayer, deliverance ministry, ministry to the poor, supporting Israel, and more! During this trip we saw about 250-300 pray to receive our Savior Jesus! Lord willing, we will begin the New Year off with more details and pictures from this trip.

As we wind down this very trying year-we are reminded that even in the midst of it's difficulties we can endure and be fruitful-may this help us in the year to come.

Truly, so much of the fruit from our partnership together this year can only be measured by eternity! With this in mind-let's be thankful for this year and prepare our hearts for 2021 should the Lord tarry. Let's even now prepare our hearts, minds, and lives to be Poured Out For The Nations!

In His service,
Dov Schwarz

Newsletter – November 2020

"We are rejoicing
to be Poured Out
For The Nations!"

Dear Poured Out Brothers and Sisters In Messiah Jesus,

When my children were young and growing up, I used to tell them something that applies for us now as we begin to think of wrapping up 2020. I would often remind them that it is not how you start a race-it is how you finish. Here are a couple passages of Scripture-one from our Lord Jesus Himself and the other from Paul's letter to his disciple Timothy:

"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you." (John 15:16)

"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." (2 Timothy 4:7)

I am so very thankful for the opportunity our Savior Is giving us to take His salvation to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) November 10-24! This is my last missions outreach to the nations for the year and I am looking for a full basket of fruit! Let me share a little with you about this exciting trip-that I will actually be on while you are reading this letter.

The DRC is a beautiful country rich with great natural resources. Yet, upon this lovely backdrop is seemingly unrelenting trouble and human tragedy. For example, the Rwanda genocide of 1994 spilled over into the DRC triggering an intense spike of brutal militia factions. Some 5.5 million were killed and Eastern DRC became the rape capitol of the world as rape was used as a weapon of terror.

Today, violence ebbs and flows along with intermittent outbreaks of Ebola, political strife, widespread corruption, and poverty. Much of the trouble has been in Eastern DRC where I have been several times. This time I am going back to Western DRC to the Capitol-Kinshasa-a city of about eleven million people.

In the midst of all this human suffering, hopelessness, and darkness-Hallelujah-we have the message of deliverance, eternal hope, and the light of the world-the gospel of Jesus Christ! We will take His life changing, eternal life, and grace and mercy to these precious souls! Also very important, my Congolese ministry partners are so very special!

Winner

The DRC is not an English speaking country therefore I need a translator, which is often the case. My Kinshasa translator has quite a testimony as the Lord gave him the gift of the tongue of English. His name is Winner and he did not study English with traditional methods yet speaks it fluently! It truly is a holy and powerful experience when I preach and he translates.

Pastor Richard

Many years ago Winner introduced me to a uniquely anointed man named Pastor Richard. Sometimes, there are people we meet that have a "something special" that can only come from our Risen Savior-Pastor Richard certainly is one of those! There is something of the presence of the Holy Spirit that only those who uniquely abide in Messiah Jesus for the glory of our Heavenly Father carry with them-and you know it when you see it! Of all the many trips to DRC this is the first time I will be working through Pastor Richard's ministry and we are all expecting heaven to come down in our midst!

Lord willing, we will be in churches in Kinshasa, but also in many small outlying villages where so many hungry unsaved souls are waiting for us. Yet Lord willing, it will not be us, but our Savior Jesus manifesting His glory for our Heavenly Father's sake who
will be the Star of the show! (Matthew 5:16) And, Lord willing, we will see many precious souls saved from their sins, set free from strongholds, and set on a path of eternal righteousness in Messiah Jesus!

Having heard these things, I have a question: Do you want in on this? We have seen the Holy Spirit working (beginning in January) even in this year where so much is shut down! In Burundi and Rwanda, Africa on two different trips we have seen salvations, healings, Pastor Conferences and much more! Now, we are asking our Abba Father to help us one more time to finish the year even better than it began!

Missions Reminder

Again, as I have been saying all year, there are three primary ways to co-labor in missions:

1) Praying
2) Giving
3) Going

Also, once again and gladly, I will do the going. Will you prayerfully consider doing the praying and giving? One of these three components is not more or less important than the other-those praying, giving, and going are equally working together for the One who receives the glory as only He can give the increase-the Lord of the Harvest Himself-our Savior and King Jesus!

Even while you are reading this letter and I am in the DRC you can be praying according to the things you have heard in this letter and as the Holy Spirit leads. Also, please only as the Holy Spirit leads, you can send whatever He places on your heart to help support this DRC outreach, as well as our other ongoing monthly gospel and discipleship outreaches and commitments.

In His service,
Dov Schwarz
