Happy New Year and Hallelujah-we begin a new season of Kingdom opportunity! Shall we begin with a vision and then after bearing fruit begin this new-year with a healthy momentum? I like the old saying "If you aim at nothing you are sure to hit it."

Our vision is to pour ourselves out for the faith of others in 2020 like never before! We begin in CESA (Central Eastern South Africa) in the countries of Burundi and Rwanda. First, in Burundi that along with Rwanda has suffered so much violence and bloodshed over the last twenty-five years. While Rwanda has remained more stable Burundi has had frequent outbreaks of violence and killings. Yet here are two beautiful words for these precious souls: "But God..."

But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus... (Ephesians 2:4-6)

Our Father who is in heaven who is rich in mercy and love for Burundi and Rwanda is sending we who participate (you who are praying, you who are giving, and me who is going) to preach His gospel and discipleship teachings to raise up precious souls in Burundi to leave the terrible condition of being "in Adam and his sin" to being seated in heavenly places "in Christ"!

For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
(1 Corinthians 15:21-22)

All of us were dead in our trespasses and sins until this Savior came to die for us and rose again-then He brought we who are born again out of Adam and his eternal condemnation and into Christ and His eternal life! Now that will preach-Hallelujah! And, Lord willing, that is what I will preach in Burundi and then Rwanda.

The terrible Rwandan Genocide took place in 1994 where 850,000 to 1,000,000 Rwandan Tutsis were killed in 100 days! While so much time has gone by, for many reasons, Rwanda still has a significant orphan and street children problem. The only way to approach the children on the streets is with the right church backing and strategies.

After twelve years of going to Rwanda, we now have one of the largest network of churches in Rwanda and their leadership behind us to go to these special children with the love of our Savior Jesus! Once again, I will give you the Scriptures that are our marching orders:

Pure and undefiled religion before God and the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble, and to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
(James 1:27)

A father of the fatherless, a defender of widows,
Is God in His holy habitation. (Psalm 68:5)

Lord willing, we will also be visiting children in public schools in Rwanda. Think of this: it is completely forbidden to take the gospel into public schools in America, but allowed in Africa-Oh Lord Jesus have mercy upon us! So we plan on doing just that! Taking the gospel of our Savior to the children in schools in Rwanda.

In both Burundi and Rwanda our African team and myself will be going to churches and I will be preaching the gospel, the Watch Therefore/Faithful Servant message, and leading Pastor conferences.

The dates are January 24-February 4, 2020. Please do pray for our efforts
and the following prayer points associated with this trip. Please, also remember that we have about $5,000 of expenses associated with this effort-please pray and respond as the Holy Spirit leads.

Prayer Points:
•Travel mercies including luggage!
•All demonic strategies against us to be made powerless!
•The Lord would loose His glory upon our team and efforts!
•Holy Spirit direction for all team members!
•Many saved, healed, set free, raised up in Burundi and Rwanda!
•Many orphan children embracing their Heavenly Father and Kingdom destiny in Messiah Jesus!
•All funds for our trip and other ministry monthly expenses while I am away!
•My health especially my stomach while in Africa!

Newsletter – December 2019

I started my day overlooking the Sea of Galilee with a concern regarding the parable of the sower. So many things from so many different directions tug and pull at our hearts and minds. Truly these things attempt to place us into one of the categories mentioned in this parable explained by Messiah Jesus. We should only pay attention to the heavenly things that draw us to the last category, the good ground.

"Therefore hear the parable of the sower: When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and does not understand it, then the wicked one comes and snatches away what was sown in his heart. This is he who received seed by the wayside. But he who received the seed on stony places, this is he who hears the word and immediately receives it with joy; yet he has no root in himself, but endures only for a while. For when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles. Now he who received seed among the thorns is he who hears the word, and the cares of this world and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." (Matthew 13:18-23)

We see that the ground the seed falls on is the heart. The old saying is still true "The heart of the problem is the problem of the heart". What is at the center of everything and has control of my emotions and desires? These things have my heart, which is why we need to be very diligent over our hearts.

Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life.
(Proverbs 4:23)

Certainly, the voice of the wicked one distracts us while he snatches up the words Messiah Jesus wants us to hear. Think of the joy we have experienced in the presence of the Holy Spirit blessing us with the love of our Savior sent by our Heavenly Father! But, His words of love wither in the heart of the stony ground hearer due to tribulation or persecution-the normal testing for those who follow His word. They stumble, and by grace I want to walk uprightly on the narrow path that leads to life!

And then the one that I have to check myself with regularly-the word that fell among thorns. I must admit that sometimes the cares of this world take too much of the center stage which makes it more difficult for the words of my Savior to sink down into my heart and mind.

We must also be very careful to not love money as the Bible teaches that riches take wings quickly and we find that we have invested in a temporal kingdom that is soon passing away. (1 Timothy 6:10, Proverbs 23:5) The greatest concern for this hearer should be that they are in danger of living unfruitful lives before the Savior who has called us to bear eternal fruit in this life. (John 15:16)

Yet, the good news is for the healthy hearted believer in our Lord Jesus! This one will bear eternal fruit exponentially! Guess what fruitfulness produces? - yes, fruit - but also more fruit! The more fruitful we are-the more fruitful we will become! Sorry for all the exclamation points-but this is truly exciting! Here is a good place to start today to make sure our hearts are prepared for the seed of the word of our Lord Jesus:

Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
(Psalm 51:10)

Look Back and Look Forward

In 2019 we saw many saved and discipled by our Savior Jesus through our missions outreach in Africa and Lord willing we'll see many more saved in 2020! Our Watch Therefore television program grew and is now in 200 countries reaching potentially into 200,000,000 (two hundred million) homes! May the Watch Therefore and Be Ready message make fruitful disciples with healthy hearts in 2020.

We supported monthly two very special African Pastors in 2019 and Lord willing, may our support continue to bear fruit through these special ones in 2020.

We have three special missions opportunities in 2020-please pray for us for Rwanda/Burundi (neighboring countries), Kenya, India, and an open door in Dubai in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).

For all those who prayerfully and financially supported us in 2019-we thank our Savior Jesus for you. And to you we say THANK YOU while we pray a Happy New Year for you in 2020!

Newsletter – November 2019

One way I am pouring myself out for the nations is by reading, studying, and by the grace of our Lord Jesus, living out His word. An extension of this is our television program Watch Therefore. It literally reaches into two hundred countries and potentially two hundred million homes!

These days, during part of our program I am teaching the Book of 2nd Peter. Its pages are full of light, life, and instruction for anyone who will embrace its message today! Oh, in a world going ten kinds of crazy I am so thankful for this special letter from heaven.
This generation is full of distractions and schemes against Christ followers. So many forget that we have been given great promises to live by and that quite literally we possess the gift of the divine nature of the true and living Creator of the Universe! I am reminded that we should be so very thankful to be saved from this corrupt and evil world and our own personal sins!

Simon Peter, a bondservant and apostle of Jesus Christ,
To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
(1 Peter 2:1-4)

These blood bought privileges of grace, power, and promises of life come with great responsibilities. Our Lord expects us to walk out our faith with great intention. Our faith is to be growing, maturing, and expanding in specific ways. Peter identifies and shares them in this essential Holy Spirit inspired letter.

But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness, to godliness brotherly kindness, and to brotherly kindness love. For if these things are yours and abound, you will be neither barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. For he who lacks these things is shortsighted, even to blindness, and has forgotten that he was cleansed from his old sins.
(2 Peter 1:5-9)

Faith - Virtue - Knowledge -
Self Control - Perseverance - Godliness -
Kindness - Love

Peter "reminds" his readers three times in four verses in chapter one. Consider his great concern for the need to remind the people of the Lord. After reading these passages please consider what comes next.

For this reason I will not be negligent to remind you always of these things, though you know and are established in the present truth. Yes, I think it is right, as long as I am in this tent, to stir you up by reminding you, knowing that shortly I must put off my tent, just as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me. Moreover I will be careful to ensure that you always have a reminder of these things after my decease. (2 Peter 1:12-15)

Though written for believers in every generation-2nd Peter is very uniquely written to those living in this generation charged with fulfilled Bible Prophecy! Peter's second letter has important warnings and instructions pertaining to Bible Prophecy. The closer we get to the rapture and return of our Savior Jesus-the more it seems that His followers forget how we are to think and live accordingly!

And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts; knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.
(2 Peter 1:19-21)

Having considered these things I pray you would not only be provoked to be and do the things Peter instructs, but also that you would consider joining me during the Watch Therefore broadcasts. And then, only as the Holy Spirit leads, prayerfully consider joining me in prayer and financial support of our "for such a time as this" television outreach!
