Dear Poured Out Disciples of Messiah Jesus,

The Book of Proverbs is one of the greatest sources of wisdom known to mankind. A passage from this wisdom book is appropriate to begin this letter. May this Bible verse, and another one that is a perfect “cross” reference, touch your heart as you consider the content of this Poured Out For The Nations update.

“The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, And he who wins souls is wise.” Proverbs 11:30

“for the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10

With all the legitimate matters to be concerned about these days, it is important to make sure we are not distracted away from the mission of our Savior Jesus—to see souls saved! As I am typing this letter I am prayerfully considering a January 2024 mission trip to India—my first time to India! Our very special ministry partner Arch Bishop Reinhard oversees 2,000 churches in India! He has invited me for a visit to preach the gospel and bring the Watch Therefore message to precious souls all over the country.

Bishop Reinhard visited me while we were living in Israel and has been a guest on my TV program Watch Therefore. We prayerfully and financially support his very powerful gospel/discipleship work monthly. For about four years we have been praying about my visit to India and Lord willing January will be the time. Please join me in prayer and I will keep you posted.

Ongoing Africa Gospel/Discipleship Outreach

As many of you know, back in August we saw over 600 pray to receive Jesus as Lord in Rwanda and Eastern DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo). We are in ongoing discipleship work with many of them in Rwanda at this time. Our Africa Watch Therefore team recently met with them in a two- day morning and then afternoon teaching sessions. Please do prayerfully consider joining us to support this very fruitful work in the Lord’s field of harvest.

Watch Therefore TV Expansion

My Watch Therefore TV program certainly is a Poured Out for the Nations labor of love. This program goes out weekly to over 200 countries and 200 million homes! The cost of this Poured Out work is very expensive and we just stepped out in faith adding the GEB network to our Direct TV programming.

All I can say is that if it is the Lord’s will it is the Lord’s bill! Please pray that our Lord Jesus raises up those who will partner with us in a deeper way for this television gospel/discipleship outreach. Certainly, like the Psalmist says:

“My help comes from the LORD Who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:2

This TV outreach has two primary purposes:

1) Make faithful, wise, blessed disciples of Christ Jesus who are watching and ready for His anytime coming to take us back to that place He has been preparing for us. (Matthew 24:42-47/John 14:1-3).

2) Most every program I share the life-saving gospel with the lost according to the Scriptures noted at the beginning of this letter.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into. Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect. Matthew 24:42-44

I am so happy to report to you some of the great things our Savior is doing with our ministry in Africa! Of course, the August outreach in Rwanda and then the Eastern DR Congo was a smash! We counted 621 who prayed to repent and receive our Savior Jesus Christ!

There is ongoing discipleship with the new believers and for that we are very thankful. I am adding a picture or two and if you are a regular viewer of my program Watch Therefore you may have seen video footage of many new believers being taught basic Bible truths in a discipleship meeting for the new believers. This is in accordance with our Savior’s command to preach the gospel and make disciples. One should lead to the other or something is very wrong. An initial prayer to receive Christ must lead to then following our Savior.

Here are some passages establishing my assertions:

"And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.” Romans 1:16

“And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.”
Matthew 28:18-20

Tragically, the “Great Commission” has been lost in the shuffle of our modern Christian environment that is too often focused on the things of this life with very little thought of eternity. But the mission from the command still stands to go with the gospel and make disciples. Oh please, prayerfully consider joining us on mission by praying and giving as I do the going! (praying, giving, going!)

For many years I have been working with a dear brother in Christ who is a pastor, translator, and an authentic disciple of our Lord Jesus Christ. His name is Winner Luzolana and he has been my translator in Western DR Congo since I began traveling there about ten years ago.

Finally, our ministry has taken him on as a monthly partner in that we will help with his most urgent needs monthly and he will send us reports and be our man on the ground reporting from Kinshasa, DRC. He is deserving of much more than we can give his dear family, but we will do what we can to help every month Lord willing. I asked him to send an introduction for this letter—so below please meet Winner Luzolana.

Hello, my name is Winner Luzolana. I live in Kinshasa, DRC. I am a church leader and Watch Therefore/Poured out for the Nations partner. I am married to Princess Mushitu Luzolana, we have two Kids: Acacia Luzolana, our daughter, is nearly 5 years old and Gift Luzolana, our son, is one year and nine months old.

Actually, the poverty rate in the DRC is alarming. Unemployment, malnutrition, epidemics, criminality, insecurity and so many other kinds of strange and wicked phenomena are increasingly happening in this country because of war and bad political administration. I’m currently one of the people affected by this poverty. Being poor, jobless and suffering from diabetes type 2, it is hard for me to take care of my family and my treatment.

However, my wife and I thank God—through Jesus Christ our Lord—we met pastor Dov Schwarz. He was moved with compassion when he found out about our life situation. So he made up his mind to support us with a monthly donation. We are very grateful to Pastor Dov and his Ministry Watch Therefore/Poured Out for the Nations for the monthly giving support that they are sending to us. This support enables us to supply our family with basic foodstuffs such as: semolina, cassava flour, powder cream, oil, sugar, and baby’s diapers and medicines to treat my diabetes type 2.

Lastly, I pray God to provide for this Ministry and to fill their baskets in Jesus Christ's mighty name.

Dear Poured Out Disciples of Christ Jesus,

When the Apostle Paul returned from a great mission journey he reported to those who had prayed and supported his Kingdom work. Similarly, I have a lovely report from our very blessed and fruitful Rwanda/DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo) mission outreach.

“Now when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia. From there they sailed to Antioch, where they had been commended to the grace of God for the work which they had completed. Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.” Acts 14:25-27

In Rwanda I was greeted at the airport by our Watch Therefore Ministries team comprised of Pastor Herman Gatware, my translator Eric, and later met Caleb who is also part of the team. We celebrated their prayerful and diligent preparations for the four days of outdoor events that were about to take place. And, we gave thanks and rejoiced that the Lord had brought me safely to Rwanda.

Our Savior told us to go into the highways and hedges to bring them in:

“Then the master said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23

I preached four days of outdoor events in two small villages. Churches in the area worked together preparing the villages with different forms of advertising that I would be there preaching. They had church choirs, special singing guests, local government officials, and more—it was a King Jesus celebration!

The turnout was a great blessing and in some of my preaching messages—when I gave an invitation to come and receive Jesus as Lord as many as 150-200 came forward to call upon the name of the Lord! I was so overwhelmed with thanks and excitement for our Heavenly Father’s grace and mercy! The Holy Spirit was truly moving in our midst.

The final preaching was in a small room with about 40 precious young people who Pastor Herman had pulled from the streets into a special program he has to deliver them from a life of many troubles. Four of them prayed to receive Jesus as Lord—one being a young Muslim girl in full Muslim dress. She was smiling ear to ear with the joy of her new found salvation in our Lord Jesus!

Donated funds were used to buy 248 Bibles to distribute and some of the new disciples were thankful and blessed to have in their hands the word of the living God. In all, we counted 531 that prayed to receive Christ in Rwanda—now off to DRC.

Bukavu, DRC is just across the border from Rwanda. I had not been there in many years and was thankful to return to Eastern DRC. Our work in DRC was in two churches and was a little different in that it was more discipleship—yet I still preached the gospel and precious souls did pray to be saved. The leadership in these churches is so very special and we have plans for ongoing work together.

These two churches are full of precious souls who fervently worship our Heavenly Father, His only begotten Son Jesus, by the power of the Holy Spirit. What joy we experienced together! And, this joy sits on the backdrop of a troubled place mired by poverty and many threats including outbreaks of violence. These Christ followers prayed heaven down in weekly prayer and mid-day worship meetings with close to 1,000 disciples of our Lord Jesus in attendance!

They gladly embraced the Watch Therefore message and so many committed to watch and be ready for the imminent Rapture as our Savior takes us home to Himself! In one Sunday morning church meeting 71 lost sinners found grace in the eyes of the Lord as they received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior!

In all, we saw about 621 precious souls pray to repent and believe upon the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ! How many more received the Lord that we did not see? Only, heaven knows and that is the best part. The fruit of this trip can only be measured by eternity and you who participated are part of that fruit just as much as me!

Discipleship training for the new believers has already begun as we follow the command of our Savior in Matthew 28:18-20 to make disciples. A special thanks once again to Team Jesus Christ who prayed and gave for me to go (praying, giving, going). You can support this ongoing work even now as we support monthly our Watch Therefore team in Africa.

Most of all—may our Savior Jesus be praised!!!
